About Lohrville

Pavement care for Lohrville properties

The American Granite Company began quarrying in what is now Lohrville in 1906, and the village is named for the company's first president, Charles Lohr. Workers moved to the area for jobs in the quarries, and a railway built a spur line to them. The village incorporated in 1910. The railway has since been abandoned and turned into the Bannerman Trail.

Asphalt wears down from sun, water and winter weather. Filling cracks early keeps water out of the base, and a protective coat slows the wear. A fresh sealcoat every two to three years suits most driveways.
