FAQ

Common questions

What is asphalt sealcoating?

A fresh coat of sealer that gives worn asphalt a deep black finish and a protective surface against water, sun and weather. We seal residential driveways and commercial parking lots.

What does crack filling do?

Cracks let water into the base of your pavement. We fill them with hot-pour rubberized sealant to stop cracks from spreading before they turn into bigger repairs. It is a good step before sealcoating.

How often should I sealcoat?

Most driveways do best with a fresh sealcoat every two to three years. Parking lots with heavier traffic may need attention sooner. We look at the surface and tell you where it stands.

Do you work on homes and businesses?

Yes. We work on residential driveways and commercial parking lots. We are fully insured with 20+ years of experience.

What services do you offer?

Asphalt sealcoating, hot-pour crack filling, line striping, pothole repair, patch work, gravel driveway installation, asphalt maintenance and parking lot maintenance.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates are free. Send the estimate request form with any photos, take the short assessment first if you like, or call 608-548-1169. You can also email ersealcoating@yahoo.com.

How do I get an estimate?

Tell us about the property with the form, by phone or by email. A rough guess on the size of the driveway or lot is fine. We confirm the details and recommend what the surface needs.

More answers

Before and after the work

What are your hours?

We are open Monday to Sunday, 8am to 8pm, seven days a week.

Can you repair potholes and damaged sections?

Yes. We fill and repair potholes in driveways and parking lots, and we patch damaged or worn sections so you do not have to redo the whole surface.

What should I do before you come?

Keep cars off the area on the day, and tell us about anything we should know, like sprinklers or a gate. We go over the rest when we confirm the day.

When can I use my driveway after sealcoating?

Fresh sealer needs time to cure, and the time depends on weather. Keep cars, bikes, pets and foot traffic off until we tell you it is ready. We will tell you when.

Do you stripe parking lots?

Yes. We stripe parking lots and driveways for residential and commercial customers, so stalls, lanes and fire lanes are clearly marked.

Which towns do you serve?

We serve central and western Wisconsin, and we also serve Illinois, Minnesota and Iowa. The service area page lists towns by county, and many towns have a page of their own.
