About Brandon
Pavement care for Brandon properties
Brandon was first called Bungtown when the town was created in 1856. The Rens Hemp Company of Brandon closed in 1958 as the last legal hemp producer in the nation after the World Wars. Before it shut down it had been the main source of hemp rope for the United States Navy. The source of the northernmost West Branch of the Rock River is in the Community Park on the west edge of the village.
Wisconsin winters push water into every crack, and freezing and thawing pries them wider. Sealcoat protects the surface from water, sun and weather, and crack filling covers the openings the sealer cannot bridge. Most driveways do best with a fresh coat every two to three years.
