About Babcock
Pavement care for Babcock properties
It was named for Joseph W. Babcock, a sawmill operator who bought the site and built a hotel and a depot. Babcock was once an important junction on the Milwaukee Road, with lines running north, east, south and southwest. Today a single track of the Canadian National runs south to Necedah and east to Port Edwards and Wisconsin Rapids. The community has its own post office with ZIP code 54413, and the 2020 census counted 122 residents.
A hunting and marsh community has rural homes with long driveways, many of them gravel. Fresh gravel and grading after a wet spring keep the drive passable.

What we do
Services for Babcock homes and businesses
A Babcock driveway usually needs a short list of things done in the right order: repair, fill, seal. We walk the surface with you and write down what it actually needs. For businesses in Babcock we handle the whole lot together: repairs, crack filling, sealcoating and fresh line striping, so stalls, fire lanes and crosswalks look right once the work is done.
- Asphalt sealcoating
- Crack filling
- Line striping
- Pothole repair
- Patch work
- Gravel driveway installation
- Asphalt maintenance
- Parking lot maintenance
Sun and weather wear the surface down over time, which is why most driveways do best with a fresh coat every two to three years. Good timing matters: pavement has to be clean, dry and above the temperature the sealer calls for. We pick the day and talk through it with you before we start.
