Nekoosa is a Wood County city on the Wisconsin River.
About Nekoosa
Pavement care for Nekoosa properties
The name comes from the Ho-Chunk word for running water. Daniel Whitney built the first sawmill on the Wisconsin River here in 1831, at Whitney's Rapids, making Nekoosa the birthplace of Wood County. The settlement was first called Point Basse.
A river town with an industrial past has working lots as well as older driveways. Lots that handle trucks benefit from patch work and crack filling before a fresh coat.

What we do
Services for Nekoosa homes and businesses
Most calls from Nekoosa are for driveways: a first or repeat sealcoat, crack filling before it, a patch where an edge has broken down, or a gravel drive that needs fresh material and grading. A lot in Nekoosa that carries daily traffic wears from the entrances first. We fix potholes and patches, fill cracks, seal the surface and restripe, and plan the order so one visit does as much as possible.

Sealer needs dry pavement and mild weather to cure, so we plan each job around the forecast and tell you how long to keep cars off. Wisconsin winters push water into every crack, and freezing makes it worse. Filling cracks and sealing the surface before the cold sets in gives that water fewer ways in.
Questions
Common questions in Nekoosa
Do you patch damaged sections in Nekoosa?
Yes. Damaged sections are repaired first so the sealcoat goes onto a sound surface.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Estimates are free. Use the form or call 608-548-1169 and tell us about your property.
How often should I reseal my asphalt?
Most driveways do best with a fresh sealcoat every two to three years. Parking lots with heavier traffic may need attention sooner. We look at the surface and tell you where it stands.
