About New Lisbon

Pavement care for New Lisbon properties

The site was a seasonal winter encampment of the Ho-Chunk people, who called it a boat launch. Amasa Wilson and C.B. Smith arrived in 1838 to harvest lumber and built a sawmill in 1842 and 1843. Wilson platted the village in 1855, first called Mill Haven, and the railroad connected it in 1857. The Wisconsin Legislature incorporated New Lisbon in March 1870, and the Mauston-New Lisbon Union Airport serves both cities.

Interstate access and a small downtown bring motel and service lots as well as neighborhood driveways. Highway-facing lots take hard use, so fresh striping and crack filling pay off.

What we do

Services for New Lisbon homes and businesses

Most calls from New Lisbon are for driveways: a first or repeat sealcoat, crack filling before it, a patch where an edge has broken down, or a gravel drive that needs fresh material and grading. For businesses in New Lisbon we handle the whole lot together: repairs, crack filling, sealcoating and fresh line striping, so stalls, fire lanes and crosswalks look right once the work is done.

Good timing matters: pavement has to be clean, dry and above the temperature the sealer calls for. We pick the day and talk through it with you before we start. Wisconsin winters push water into every crack, and freezing makes it worse. Filling cracks and sealing the surface before the cold sets in gives that water fewer ways in.

Questions

Common questions in New Lisbon

Do you serve New Lisbon from Lyndon Station?

Yes. Both are in Juneau County. Call 608-548-1169 for a free estimate.

How often should I reseal my asphalt?

Most driveways do best with a fresh sealcoat every two to three years. Parking lots with heavier traffic may need attention sooner. We look at the surface and tell you where it stands.

What do I need to do before you come?

Keep cars off the area on the day, and tell us about anything we should know, like sprinklers or a gate. We go over the rest when we confirm the day.
