About Lake Mills
Pavement care for Lake Mills properties
Captain Joseph Keyes first settled the area and named it Lake Mills after building a saw mill and grist mill powered by the lake. The city was chartered in 1836, and the first building went up in 1837. In 1866 the village changed its name to Tyranena, then changed it back the next year. The Lake Mills Leader is its weekly newspaper.
A lakeside community has lake-view homes with sloped driveways and downtown lots that serve local businesses. Water running toward the lake is a good reason to keep surfaces sealed and cracks filled.

What we do
Services for Lake Mills homes and businesses
A Lake Mills driveway usually needs a short list of things done in the right order: repair, fill, seal. We walk the surface with you and write down what it actually needs. Property managers and owners in Lake Mills can ask for sealcoating, crack filling, striping and pothole repair on one estimate, with work scheduled to keep your lot open as much as we can.

Sealer needs dry pavement and mild weather to cure, so we plan each job around the forecast and tell you how long to keep cars off. Wisconsin winters push water into every crack, and freezing makes it worse. Filling cracks and sealing the surface before the cold sets in gives that water fewer ways in.
Questions
Common questions in Lake Mills
Do you work near the lakeshore in Lake Mills?
Yes. Driveways near the water get extra attention to drainage, and we point out spots where water collects.
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. Estimates are free. Use the form or call 608-548-1169 and tell us about your property.
How often should I reseal my asphalt?
Most driveways do best with a fresh sealcoat every two to three years. Parking lots with heavier traffic may need attention sooner. We look at the surface and tell you where it stands.
