Asphalt sealcoating in Gotham, WI

Gotham, also called Richland City, is an unincorporated Richland County community at the intersection of Wisconsin Highway 60 and U.S. Route 14.

About Gotham

Pavement care for Gotham properties

It lies just north of the Wisconsin River in the town of Buena Vista, northeast of Avoca and southeast of Richland Center. The name came from Captain Myron Wheeler Gotham (1842 to 1902), who once lived in the village and died with his sons Lucius and Myron in a violent storm on the Great Lakes in 1902. The 2020 census counted 189 residents.

A crossroads community between a river and two highways has a few roadside businesses and rural homes. Highway frontage takes salt and plows, which wear the pavement edge.

What we do

Services for Gotham homes and businesses

A Gotham driveway usually needs a short list of things done in the right order: repair, fill, seal. We walk the surface with you and write down what it actually needs. A lot in Gotham that carries daily traffic wears from the entrances first. We fix potholes and patches, fill cracks, seal the surface and restripe, and plan the order so one visit does as much as possible.

Good timing matters: pavement has to be clean, dry and above the temperature the sealer calls for. We pick the day and talk through it with you before we start. Sealer needs dry pavement and mild weather to cure, so we plan each job around the forecast and tell you how long to keep cars off.
