About Merrillan

Pavement care for Merrillan properties

A post office called Merrillan has operated since 1894. Lincoln Elementary School, part of the Alma Center-Humbird-Merrillan school district, serves students from four-year-old kindergarten through sixth grade. The old school building was torn down in 1996 and a new one built just behind it, and a four-classroom addition followed several years later. The school has a gymnasium and a commons where lunch is served. The village sits where Highway 95 meets Highways 12 and 27, and had 562 residents in the 2020 census.

A school, a highway junction and a handful of small businesses mean a few lots and plenty of driveways. School lots do best when repairs and striping are scheduled over the summer break.

What we do

Services for Merrillan homes and businesses

A Merrillan driveway usually needs a short list of things done in the right order: repair, fill, seal. We walk the surface with you and write down what it actually needs. Property managers and owners in Merrillan can ask for sealcoating, crack filling, striping and pothole repair on one estimate, with work scheduled to keep your lot open as much as we can.

Wisconsin winters push water into every crack, and freezing makes it worse. Filling cracks and sealing the surface before the cold sets in gives that water fewer ways in. Sun and weather wear the surface down over time, which is why most driveways do best with a fresh coat every two to three years.
