Asphalt sealcoating in Cambria, WI
Cambria is a Columbia County village in the Madison metropolitan area, settled by Welsh families in the 1840s.
About Cambria
Pavement care for Cambria properties
Brothers John and Samuel Langdon settled the site in 1844, and Samuel built a sawmill on a branch of Duck Creek. They platted four blocks and called the village Florence, but the mill dominated the landscape and the settlement was known as Langdon's Mills. About fifty Welsh settlers with their wives and children arrived from North Wales, many from Dolwyddelan, and the place was renamed Cambria, the Latin name for Wales. The railroad came through in 1857 and the community was incorporated in 1866.
A small village with a mill and farm history has mostly older driveways, small business lots and rural properties around it. Older asphalt tends to have cracks that have been open through many winters, so filling them before a protective coat matters.

What we do
Services for Cambria homes and businesses
For homes in Cambria we start with the driveway as it is. Cracks get filled with hot-pour rubberized sealant, low spots and potholes get repaired, and then the surface gets its protective coat. For businesses in Cambria we handle the whole lot together: repairs, crack filling, sealcoating and fresh line striping, so stalls, fire lanes and crosswalks look right once the work is done.

Freeze and thaw cycles are hard on asphalt here. Sealcoat protects the surface from water, sun and weather, and crack filling handles the openings the sealer cannot bridge. Sun and weather wear the surface down over time, which is why most driveways do best with a fresh coat every two to three years.
Questions
Common questions in Cambria
Can you work on older driveways in Cambria?
Yes. We look at the surface first, repair what is broken, fill the cracks and then seal. Call for a free estimate.
How often should I reseal my asphalt?
Most driveways do best with a fresh sealcoat every two to three years. Parking lots with heavier traffic may need attention sooner. We look at the surface and tell you where it stands.
What do I need to do before you come?
Keep cars off the area on the day, and tell us about anything we should know, like sprinklers or a gate. We go over the rest when we confirm the day.
